Originally from Tehran, and now based in Los Angeles, Negin is an Iranian singer-songwriter whose music blends elements of Iranian folk, pop, and modern fusion. Her musical journey began at home, where music was a constant presence and early source of inspiration. At the age of ten, she started learning the traditional Iranian percussion instrument Tonbak, sparking a lifelong connection to rhythm and Iran’s rich musical heritage.During her teenage years, she expanded her musical language by learning piano and guitar, gradually shaping her own artistic voice. Alongside her instrumental training, Negin pursued vocal studies to deepen her ability to convey emotion and storytelling through song.Rooted in the sounds of Iranian folklore while embracing contemporary influences, her music moves fluidly between tradition and modernity. She creates a distinctive space where nostalgia, poetic expression, and new sonic textures come together, offering a fresh yet deeply rooted musical identity.
